Sat 30th November 2019 we hosted our annual charity dinner and masquerade party for Transport For London staff. A fun night was had by all at the plush 4* central London venue; the Ambassador Hotel.
The night began with a complimentary glass of champagne for each guest accompanied by a steel band solo from Endurance steel band. We were then served a delicious three-course Christmas dinner whilst being entertained by the singing sensation Verna.
This is the final event of the year for the Transport & Friends For Life Association and it is so great to see Transport staff come out, dress up and enjoy themselves with their families and friends. We believe this is the reason for the season……togetherness! We pride ourselves in supporting charities through our events and so was excited to again support Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Guests donated over 100 gifts for sick children and our grand raffle raised £680, we are always humbled by the generosity of our supporters. It was great to have GOSH ambassador Daniel Rossall Valentine share with us all the fantastic work this charity does and how our donations help.
To end the night we were entertained by DJ RNT who had us dancing until our feet were sore. Music from 70’s disco to Afrobeats everyone’s musical tastes was catered for.
Thank you to all who attended, to the TFFLA team, GOSH charity, our entertainers and the DJ……..you made the end of 2019 incredible for this association.
